This CD is so unuser friendly it makes it impossible to use. I have resorted to using my Readers Digest/AA Book of British Birds, as at least you can see the pictures. I would not recommend anyone to buy this CD - it is a waste of money

this programme is a god send especially for those with litlle or no knowledge. i love the feature that helps you narrow down the bird you may see and cant identify and the bird calls are extremely helpful.
one annoying feature is the need to change from one disc to the other. but the great features make this much more acceptable

I have bought several cd-rom's on British Birds in the past, this without doubt is the best by far.The only thing I found a bit of a problem was having to change from one disc to another mid way through a search for particular information.This however is a minor detail in what is otherwise a great cd-rom that would suit both the beginner and the serious bird watcher.It is packed full of great information and well worth the extra cash.
