A well written and informative review of turtles, tortoise and terapines and issues concerning their conservation and the conservation of their habitats on which they are so dependant. It was particulaly good to see chapter 10 discussing sensible ways in which to reduce the observed decline in many turtle species while still admitting current demands for turtle products will not simply disapear over night. Highlights the need for decisive yet realistic action in any conervation strategies.
