Excellent text book for any med/nurse or physiology student. Very well laid out, organised in an easy to learn step by step pattern. Makes even difficult concepts easy to understand and follow through. It was all I needed for my physiology module. The acccompanying CD-rom really helps, particularly the spoken tutorials.

This book has a good layout. The pictures and figures correspond nicely to the actual text. These factors make the book easy to read and understand.

This textbook is excellent and has been a centre point to my study for my BSc degree Level 1. I found it accessible and easy to understand whilst going into sufficient depth to meet most of my undergraduate tasks, such as essays. The accompanying applications manual applies the pathology of disease to the clinical setting. A lifeline for every student.
