If you are a complete novice, then perhaps this book is worth a read. Otherwise I would pass it by and go for a better dog training book. Too little on agility and too much on very basic training.

5 out of 5 stars The best book available to get you started in agility.   February 14, 2002

This book covers all aspects of agility training from early training of your puppy to competition.
It is easy to read and explains everything very clearly. There is a particularly useful section on constructing your own set of training equipment.I thoroughly recommend it.
