5 out of 5 stars fantastic a must !!   April 11, 2006

This book is well presented and a must for any new falconer that is interested in harris hawks in particular.

It clearly cover all the topics you need and more!!

This is not a book that will be of no use when your bird is trained as it has lots of tecniques and hints that will insure this book is by no means restricted to the begginer.

the subjects on manning and equiping are excellent as it encourages the begginer to look at every problem from the birds point of view.

this is a must if you are considering taking up falconry as the importance of representing the sport to a high standard are stressed. This book is (rightly so) based on the Harris hawk or redtail. as these are more sutible birds for begginers.

so if you are considering the redtail or harris hawk buy this book and you will not be dissapointed!!

A very well researched and informative book aimed at the beginner. Explained logically step by step with plentiful clear pictures, this book, by, in my opinion, one of the best display falconers in Scotland, is a very very worthwhile buy.
