There is some useful information for beginners in this book and it is easy to understand. I do not feel this book is the best of it's kind and there is plenty of choice on the market. The photo's in the book are hilarious, particularly the one of the hawk 'closing in on a kill'......... it is perfectly obvious the 'the kill' is not long out of the freezer!!!!!
a highly informative bookOctober 1, 2001 48 out of 50 found this review helpful
This book provides the reader with excellent advice on the management, training and hunting of harris hawks! Covering all aspects from buying and keeping a bird,to advice on parasites and first aid. The diary chapter which takes the reader through the authors first season from manning to hunting to be highly informative.
