If you "own" a cat..you MUST read this.... July 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I loved this book...Tom Cox captures the human owning nature of cats exactly. At times it made me laugh out loud. The kind of book you slow down reading as you near the end because you don't want it to end.
Looking forward to the sequel!
Not as funny as................. July 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
"A Cat called Birmingham"....
But that may be no bad thing... I love his rules on feeding his cats - made me laugh out loud - got a frown from my hubby!!..
I AM A CAT WOMAN - sadly with only one Cat!!.. I am sure given the choice I would have a few More...
I want to hear more about The Bear, Bootsy, Pablo,Janet and co....
Keep Writing Tom...
Mad Cat Man Does Exist - Fortunately! July 18, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Can a man who's a rock music critic, keen golfer and totally potty about our feline friends find nirvana in Norfolk?! With his wife and cats! Part autobiography, part meditation on the feline of the species, part situation comedy, Tom Cox's book bristles with anecdote, wisdom and some very funny moments - some sadness too, but don't let that put you off. It's a lovely read, and that's why every reviewer up to now has given it 5 stars. How he copes with it all proves that men as a species can multitask - with a little help from his feline friends! You get to know each cat's individual personality, and realise that as a species they are unique. If you love cats, you will love this book.
Another cat man exists! July 17, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Fabulous read! I thought i was married to Cat Man, but glad to see another exists! Tom Cox certainly knows his cats (and mine too). Loved it. Want to hear more about The Bear. Another book soon please!
