Customer Reviews:
The man who... January 9, 2001 A fitting monograph, which presents an incredible portfolio, in scope and beauty, of Aronson's achievements. The book is well designed - bold, enticing and inspiring. Aronson was educated in the USA, both in the East and West coasts. He continued to collaborate with the great Lawrence Halprin in Jerusalem, the city where he lives, works an rebuilds. Landscape architecture in Israel is a touchy subject. There are no schools apart from the Technion, and even there, only 150 graduates left its doors since 1975... After reading this volume, one is left overwhelmed by beauty, but also beguiled: is there no one else designing the landscape of Israel...?
