I bought this exact fly zapper for 7.99 in B&Q, I wish I hadn't bothered, this thing is about 1/3rd as effective as another model I own, the 'safety switch' makes your thumb ache and makes it difficult to use, not that it really matters though as gnats are about the only pest it will zap, overall very disappointed and I certainly wont buy this companies products again.
My other zapper is a single layer zapper, much much more effective.
