Really fun! November 26, 2008 This is one of the best Wii games out there at the minute, yet it didn't do very well in terms of sales. The mind boggles as to why. On first looking at it it does look very very child friendly but not so. Some of the puzzles are fiendishly hard, therefore incredibly rewarding when you finish them. There is also an incentive to get back and try the levels again as you get a score and you can try and better that score. This game uses the wii remote to the best of its abilities so if your looking for a game to show of your new console this is possibly THE best one, again - its so satisfying turning the wii remote to use a drill or shaking it to ring a bell. Its just great fun!
Fantastic game! October 29, 2008 Okay, what seems to be a children's game is far from the truth, don't let the cover foll you or put you off. It's a great fun filled game, and even when you die it's still fun, although a bit annoying as you have to do the level again, as in most games. Graphics are great, playability is good. I'm hoping for a sequel, but whether there is one or not remains to be seen. If you are in two minds about this game, buy it as you won't regret it.
Best puzzle game ever! October 22, 2008 Seriously, this is probably the best puzzle game I have played in 20+ years and arguably my favourite Wii title!
Once you get through the first few levels you just have to keep going until you're finished. It's fiendishly hard at times but ever since I completed it I've been desperately hoping for a sequel.
Just get it!
I didn't like it October 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I may have missed something, but I really didn't like this game. I was expecting something like Monkey Island or Simon the Sorceror but got something more like Lemmings. Some of the other reviews are misleadin - this is not an adventuree game, there is no free roaming, each level is a staged puzzle. There doesn't appear to be more than one way of solving each puzzle and certain mistakes will cause your death, albeit usually in an amusing way, but this will send you all the way back to the start unless you use the gold you collect to buy credit notes to resume where you left off.
What really killed it for me was a point where it seemed the only way to solve a puzzle was by ringing that stupid bell in time to the notches on a record. I tried repeatedly to do this and failed every time. there is no obvious indication of how succesful you have been on each attempt so it is impossible to figure out what you are doing wrong.
Everyone who loves this game is going to pan me for saying all this, but personally it wasn't what I expected, mainly because of the other reviews so I traded it in for something else.

Through the myriad of sequels and knock-off clones that are poisoning the games market, this is a game that is a real treat.
You play as Zack, a pirate-in-training who goes off with his monkey Wiki to find all manner of treasure and loot. Zack is aided by his pirate pals (a feisty bunch of rabbits and clown-like things...) as he goes through a variety of environments where a large treasure chest holds a bounty full of loot. It is your mission to help Zack get this treasure and win the level.
This may look like kiddie game but do not be fooled, it becomes a devilish puzzler with great graphics and some of the most lovable characters I have seen on the platform. The Wii may not be a polygon powerhouse, but this title proves that art triumphs over all. The charming cell shaded graphics give this game a classic look, like the Monkey Island games. The sounds are just as good as the graphics but the cuteness may get to some people.
Overall this game will make you laugh and get a good brain workout. The Wiimote is used in so many combination you will feel you are actually there, as Zack doing these actions. This title proves that the point-and-click adventure genre still has legs.
