I bought this for my son when he moved into a flat with no cooking facilities, after reading other reviews. He reports that he is very impressed with its performance. It heats quickly and is easy to keep clean.

My dad bought this based on the other reviews. He is very happy with it. It is very sturdy, and heats up fast. He had another one a few years ago which took ages to heat up. A good buy for the price.

Since consigning my cooker to the great recycling machine and using instead a pair of convection/grill/microwave ovens I found myself sorely missing my Sunday morning poached eggs and fried bacon breakfast which a microwave just cannot do justice to.
So I purchased this Haden 13356 2 Hob Electric Boiling Ring with thermostat, pilot light and cool touch handles - what a beauty!
It's compact and light enough(though very sturdy) to store in a cupboard and bring out when needed, it's well made with a good finish and this Sunday morning breakfast lover - loves it..

Haden 13356 2 Hob Electric Boiling Ring with thermostat, pilot light and cool touch handles
This hotplate is excellent especially when you have a Rayburn Cooker which needs fired up before use. Most people who have Aga / Rayburns usually have an extra cooker I have found out since moving to the country - this hotpate cuts out the need! It is very economical, fast and small and can easily be stored away when not in use - well worth the money! Also saves on fuel. Recommended very highly
