Loads of action in this new book! December 10, 2007 For me it's one of a kind! The questing cats have returned and found out at their arrival that the forest is being destroyed, but convincing the clans to leave the forest is harder than expected... Lots of thrilling adventure: coun't leave my book when reading it ,coudn't get away when I wasn't!

Follows the journey of ThunderClan, WindClan, ShadowClan, RiverClan and StarClan, to the Lake, their new territory after Mouse-brained Twolegs destroyed their forest home. Brambleclaw, Squirrelpaw, Stormfur and Crowfeather guide their Clans away from the past and towards their destiny. Unfortunately, Stormfur decides to stay with his mate, Brook and Mistyfoot of RiverClan takes over exploring the territory around the lake. In the words of StarClan... A dying warrior the way will show............
For the stout hearted August 8, 2007 What is it about the third book of a series, I always seem to enjoy them so much. There's no doubt that some parts of these books are incredibly gloomy and I've wept buckets over them but there's always HOPE. I've hated the destruction but it works because we care so much about what happens to the cats. You don't want to love these fluffy people because life is so fragile for them and they could join Starclan on the next page. At any moment your favourite could be struggling with twolegs, monsters, starvation, you name it, but love them you do - so much so that you spend extraordinary amounts of your time reading. If you haven't picked up the first book 'Into the Wild' do so now.
Too much doom and gloom January 21, 2006 9 out of 14 found this review helpful
In the first of the new series, we found out who died in the battle in the last book of the first series, and that was pretty sad. But in this one, there's enough gloom to make you cry! It seems Erin Hunter is determined to bump of all of the cats that were in first series, and a few more as well! In this book, the questing cats have finally made it home, and have found it being destroyed by humans. A decent book (not the best yet, but still good), but there is no point reading it if you haven't read the others.
