Night Of The Whale is overall a pretty good book to read. Aiming toward the 14 age group, six seniors go on a trip to Ocean City and while on a day to full of partying they find a group of beached whales along the beach. High points include the hilarious character of Digger, the pom-pom girl Lauren who risks everything to save the whales, the poignant ending, and Mouse realizing how much he cared for his friends. Low points include the countless drinking scenes, the crude humor, and flashy remarks. A good nine on a scale of one to ten.
