Drawing on his experiences in the UK, New Zealand and the Caribbean, the author offers a comprehensive coverage of the issues which need to be addressed by both teachers and parents. In everyday language, Hornby's guidelines for teachers and parents are practical and based on sound principles. He also offers models which are clearly outlined, making them easy to follow. Every teacher and parent should read this book.
