What an excellent book! I really enjoyed reading this A-Z of snakes, and can certainly recommend it. The book serves well as a troubleshooting device, as one can easily look up subjects by name and read in-depth information regarding it. For example, if your snake has a bad shed and you're not sure what to do, a quick look under S for shedding or similar soon points you in the right direction.
Chris also covers problem feeders very will, with photographs, to help you get those fussy hatchlings back on track. I wouldn't say this was his BEST book, but it's a great book at the end of the day - and one I'm glad I have.
There may well be books with more information on breeding, or feeding, or captive care, but for a book that "covers a bit of everything", and does it well, this is the one to have!
