Excellent, Excellent, Excellent December 26, 2006 54 out of 56 found this review helpful
Not much to say other than Excellent Book. It's very light hearted, great humour and we have tried about 4 recipes to date and they were all really good. I would recommend this to all my friends and if you're looking to start making smoothies for the first time I couldn't think of a better book to use.
Some great smoothie ideas, but... September 29, 2006 48 out of 158 found this review helpful
A great little book packed full of great smoothie, thickie and juice recipies. It's let down by the rather nausetaing and 'holier than thou' way it's written. It's just crammed full of trite statements such as "The Earth is a finite resource. There's only one of them and bits of it seem to be being used up pretty quickly. So we feel that we have a duty to leave things a tiny bit better than we found them" PASS THE BUCKET!

I LOVE this book. After buying cartons of Innocent Smoothies, it is a joy to actually make the smoothies myself each morning! I haven't bought a juicer as yet, but have bought a blender and followed their instructions of just using pressed apple juice for now. I love the quirky way the book is written, and have had a few giggles with them. Easy to follow recipes and lots of good hints and tips. A much more exciting to way to get your 5 a day than munching through apples! This book is a must have! Well done Innocent!

I was given this as a gift and went straight out and got myself a juicer. After a bad day there is something very satisfying about murdering carrots, apples and even broccoli! A wonderful selection of gorgeous, unlikely combinations, for grown ups and kids and they are so nice that they ought to be really naughty - 'cept they're not!!
For all you smoothies! May 26, 2006 42 out of 47 found this review helpful
This book is fab & it keeps everything simple! The Innocent ethos is infectious & I'm just off to by my first juicer!
Even the other half & child are on board with the recipe suggestions, colours & tastes.
This book is a must in every kitchen & its the simplest way of doing yourself good.
