A wonderful little book January 8, 2004 58 out of 59 found this review helpful
That infamous word "detox" - it's something we all want to do, but something none of us can be bothered trying, so I bought this book in the hope that it would be full of helpful hints and tips to do just what the title says: "Stay Healthy, Be Lazy". And I wasn't disappointed. It's a little book that talks you through the basic steps to a healthier lifestyle without being too scientific or well, just plain boring! It contains a few recipes for you to try, handy hints on how to have your 5 portions of fruit & veg everyday without even realising you are doing it. Same goes with the exercise section,... nothing to strenuous that will ruin your lazy ways, just enough to keep you in good form. It's also quite funny too! I highly recommened this book, it is my new bible!
Be Very Lazy January 5, 2004 54 out of 55 found this review helpful
I bought this more out of hope than anything else, not being the most healthy of people. But it's turned out to be a bit of a lifesaver, full of practical tips that help even the laziest among us (i.e. me) to get in better shape. I'm always suspicious of books that promise to improve your health, but this book is different in that it incorporates all of the exercise and food tips into a normal person's life, so you won't even notice you're doing yourself some good. And it's quite funny too, especially the exercises that you can do on the loo. A welcome addition to anybody's bookshelf, especially if you're trying to get a bit fitter.
