I mainly bought this book for the title, but had a small, desperate hope that it would offer some new advice. I had been driven to dispair by a lack of sleep over many years and had come across all the usual advice, non of which worked for me. What this book contains is not a totally new approach, but the persuasiveness to make you actually try the method for real. It needs a bit of will power, but it's worth it. It's written by a real person, with real advice for other real people. A year on, i have a 90% reduction in my insomnia - and i'm massively grateful.

I would like to add my praise for this wonderful book that helped me through a mercifully short, but debilitating case of insomnia. By his own admission, this guy is not a writer, but his style is funny, frank and endearing in its sincere attempt to help you out of your misery. His solution is actually very simple, and after all the build up, you think, is that it? BUT, it works. I have applied his guidelines ever since and have yet to have endured another bad night.

I suffered from chronic insomnia for about 5 years and this was the one book out of the many I looked at that actually solved my problem. Now two years on I can safely say that insomnia is behind me, but while it lasted it was very debilitating. I thoroughly recommend it. It is helped by the fact that it is written by a fellow insomniac, so great to relate to his own experiences.

Desperately Seeking Snoozin' is by far the best book I've read about insomnia. Unlike other books written on insomnia, this book leaves you feeling like there is hope and control over your sleep disorder.It's about time someone who has actually suffered from long term, cronic insomnia, and has overcome it, has written a book about the subject. Other books are written by people with no first hand experiential knowledge of the subject. They seem to be oblivious as to the devastation insomnia can inflict upon someones life and have a one size fits all approach in dealing with the problem, rather then an individualized plan of treatment, which is available in the book. This is a refreshing approach to a serious condition. The book is well written, compationate, positive, humorous and powerful. This is a book every insomnia sufferer should read. There is hope and this book is the key to unlocking that potential.

It's 3-4am & you can't sleep, that's why you've ended up here. I can relate to this but now there's a cure for all insomniacs. I got this book & immediately put it to use. I found it to be educational, entertaining & most importantly it worked for me. I used to be a chronic & conditioned insomniac but now I get my ZZZZ's that I desperately sought, found & now get thanks to this book. Kudos to Mr. Wiedman for coming up with a easy to follow & most importantly a drug-free cure to end all those long restless tossing & turning nights. I no longer have any problems falling asleep or staying asleep now. If you want your ZZZZ's too then I highly recommend that you get this book. This is a sleep bible that every insomniac should have by their bed!!
