 Another useful Osprey title May 20, 2008
"Late Marque Spitfire Aces" is another worthwhile addition to the brilliant Aircraft of the Aces series. Fans of the series will know what to expect, wonderfully rendered colour profiles, a collection of great photos and a concise text which captures the essence of the topic. One minor gripe for me was the choice of individual aircraft chosen for the colour profiles. I considered this to be a little unimaginative especially in relation to the Norwegian Spitfires where very standard examples were included rather than the colourful examples which could have easily been profiled and would have made an interesting point of difference. However this is a personal observation and overall the book is a solid addition to the series and one which will be enjoyed by readers.

Wonderful book on the Spit.
For beginners and serious students a good reference that belongs on your shelf.
