Can't stop showing it off! November 7, 2007 17 out of 21 found this review helpful
I have to say this is a really sweet piece of kit. Am watching the West Wing on it - that's why I bought it - and it is superb for the tube or train or waiting for a bus.
But it is really nice for podcasts etc. Total convert as a previously (almost) happy Creative Zen Vision owner. And if it broke tomorrow I'd be out and buy another immediately.

I've had a few ipods - an ipod mini, 2nd gen ipod nano and now this one. I have to say that each new ipod seems to get better and better. Looking at the pictures of the new nano, I wasn't sure if I would like the shape, but when I got to try one out I was very impressed and went and bought it. The cover flow option is great, allowing you to scroll through your albums by cover picture, and the added extras such as the games and calendars etc are great. I've added a couple of music videos to see how they look, and was impressed with the quality. I had to convert the videos to mp4 format to get them to work first (this was quite easy to do, there are plenty of programs available online that can covert video files for ipods).
The only slightly negative point I have is that the click wheel is a bit too touch sensitive, I sometimes find myself scrolling past the song I want to select. But it is a small point in an otherwise great mp3 player.
Overall I'd highly recommend the new nano, it's got loads of features to please everyone and looks amazing too!
AWFUL DO NOT BUY!!!!! November 1, 2007 13 out of 45 found this review helpful
I bought my ipod 7 days ago and it broke as the screen colours went faulty, i took it bak after five days and got a new one, it is now 2 days later ( 7 days since i bought the first ipod) and the new ipod has the same problem again! I am getting my money back and i do not plan to invest in the new ipod as they are all shocking!!!
Don't buy without seeing one first. October 22, 2007 49 out of 55 found this review helpful
I highly recommend tracking down one of the new nano video i-pods before purchasing. The first thing that hit me was just how small it was. Previously before video smaller always = better. Now, perhaps not so.
The screen is small and to be honest you're not going to spend a long time watching videos without straining your eyes. THe upside is that it has the same resolution as the bigger i-pods, which means no loss of quality, just size.
As always there's no replaceable battery, so once it's dead it's pretty much game over. Saying that the flash memory i-pods have much better battery life than ever before.
It's a very nifty piece of kit that just wasn't possible a few years ago. It looks cool and it sounds cool, just don't buy it for the video functionality alone.
great, I like it very much ! October 16, 2007 5 out of 37 found this review helpful
