Rather buy one that works February 10, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I had to return this item as it was functionally useless. The reading was not only very erratic but very different to the one I got from holding the sensors on the gym equipment.
Value For Money February 6, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My first heart rate monitor and it does exactly what I need. Allows me to set upper and lower bounds between which I want to train. Chest monitor also drives the heart rate display on the machines at the gym. Excellent.
Excellent value February 5, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I found this heart rate monitor to be excellent value for money. I've been using it for other a month now (for walking as part of rehab) and have had no problems with it at all. It's easy to work and takes no time to put on. The only thing missing from it is that it doesn't tell you what your average heart rate was over the course of your exercise, which would have been useful and which I know the 'Polar' monitors do.
Too sensitive January 3, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Bought this for my wife last year and now replaced with a Polar one. Much too sensitive- the reading is all over the place. Also the transmitter does not sit well on her (or my) chest.

Unit very easy to operate; extremely responsive to changes in HR.
Let's hope tgis continues to be the case, and many useful sessions will follow.
Happy new year to all!
