Along with the other books in the CWG series this book is a revelation. I learnt so much & I would recommended it to anyone. A MUST READ!

It contains a new way of thinking that could change your life. It changed mine.

5 out of 5 stars Not for the typical Bible Basher   August 30, 2006

As with most of Neale's other work, I read this book in only a couple of sittings (always the sign of a very good book for me). If you have not read any of his subsequent works then it should be noted that the question and answer style of his books can lead to readers prematurely dismissing this work out of hand. Who could possibly speak directly to God AND GET ANSWERS you may ask. This is a valid response and it is up to the reader to believe it without question, dismiss it out of hand or just read the book with an open mind. I recommend the latter to get the most out of this book. Whether this is the word of God or a prophet or a schizophrenia sufferer is not important. What matters more than anything is the thought provoking message of the words in this and all the CWG books.
I first read CWG Book 1 about three years ago, which was the first book ever to blow my mind in a spiritual sense and radically alter my outlook on life. I was previously engaged on a quest to find the meaning of life due to being disillusioned with society and even more by mainstream Christian religion which seemed to be just `going through the motions' and missing the important messages of the New Testament. From being a staunch atheist for all my life, based on my beliefs that if God actually existed then he/she would have to be a cruel, capricious, jealous and vengeful entity, I could see no place for God in my life.
My search was therefore directed towards the sciences and my research in cosmology gave me the knowledge of the infinite scale and wonder of the universe, plus my reading on quantum physics was telling me that reality is not what we perceive it to be. I was starting to think of other alternatives, such as a creator of our reality.
A new way of thinking about God and life is given in this book which can answer the questions non-believers have been asking, such as why is there so much suffering in the World if a God has designed it? Order this book and find an answer which will try to explain why the things are the way they are. It really does start to come together when you consider the words carefully.
This book found me at the right time and seemed `heaven sent' in my search for spiritual knowledge and I value it as a true gift.
People who want to believe in Hell and punishment in the here-after, please do not buy this book. You will be very disappointed to read that God does not need to forgive and loves us all, no matter what, because we are all part of God, and this can be no other way.

5 out of 5 stars This huge source of knowledge changed me   July 9, 2006

I know that I'm not the first person saying this, but here it goes again: This was the most important book I've ever read in my life. It helped me to clear the way I see the Life and It's Meaning. It was a beautiful feeling that I got while I was reading this book. I read all the 3 books of Conversations with God and I really recommend it for everyone who wants to understand the Universe in a different way. Some important things about this book: it isn't to be read as a Bible (feel the information - don't dogmatize the words); this is a book about spirituality, not about religion. This is a huge source of knowledge that really changed me. This book can help you in your Journey, if you want to and if you open your mind and your heart for it.

5 out of 5 stars Not for prisoners of dogma!!!   June 22, 2006

I see from other responses that some people of dogmatic belief systems can not see the point to this book, and have refused to see its message. My title is "Not for prisoners of dogma" maybe that's untrue, maybe it is worth reading these books if you find your self trapped by human invented dogmas, as you might just find the keys for your own prison cell within the words of this brilliant book?.

People who have called this book "blasphemy" are those who are victims to what this book calls the opposite to God, (fear).

Fear is terribly crippling, and will cause you to become trapped inside a fear based belief system, invented by equally fearful humans, a perfect example of like attracts like. This book is a way out of that fear based psychological prison that so many people today find them selves in.

Can this book free your soul from fear, and show you the eternal truth of your life? Well the only way to find out is to take a giant leap of faith and read the words within this book, that might change your life forever.

Are you brave enough to accept the glorious truth that we are all Gods children, and therefore at one with God and of the one?.

Please please ignore the negative bleatings from the institutionalised Christian reviewers you've already read! You need to approach these books with an open mind that they clearly do not have. If you do, you'll be challenged and mindblown at the same time. This book began a process that changed my entire life! I hate religious dogma and so does God, it seems! Read all the 'Conversation with God' books and see for yourself that he/she (God) is alive and DOES care about our struggles and DOES want to help us back on the right track in a modern and refreshingly helpful way. If you can't see that when you read these books, then you're part of the reason why this world is in such a sad and sorry state...
