Though Mr Tickle Teaches Maths is a great CD-Rom for children to play with, it didn't fully live up to what it promised on the box. The animation is great and the story lovely, echoing closely the Roger Hargreaves book, but most of the exercises in the learning section were very similar. Most related directly to counting, and while they touched on the other skills indicated--fractions, sequences, addition, subtraction and multiplication--they were not overly stretching. However, worth buying if only to teach children that learning--even maths--can be fun.
