This is a rather run of the mill piece of educational software, but given that it's not exactly teaching you brain surgery, it's pretty much just what you'd be looking for if you need to study to pass the theory test.Launching the application brings up the following: 1) Mock Test - runs you through an interactive test, select answers with mouse, move forward and backwards through the questions, and bring up a list of questions with an indicator displaying if they've been answered or not. Pass/fail score is given at the end. 2) Question & Answer - same as a Mock Test only with hints available. 3) Select A Topic - Question & Answer sorted by topic. 4) Preparing For Both Tests - a few pages on the tests themselves, and details about getting more information from AA.
The package itself says "850+ 'Official' UP-TO-DATE questions. Answers with explanations and hints. Unlimited number of mock tests. Interactive, fun and really easy to use."
Pros: Good coverage of all you need to know to pass the theory test, interactive learning with the hints actually let you learn the subject matter instead of just memorizing answers to specific questions, and it simulates taking the actual test.
Cons: Runs in small window on machines with high resolution monitors.
