A terrific piece of software. A vast improvement on FTM2005. If you are really serious with your genealogy then this is the package for you. Plus subscribe to Ancestry.co.uk for a year. I was initially reluctant to pay the year's subscription thinking I probably wouldn't take full advantage of it but it's far the better option than buying bits of credit to this and that genealogy website.

I have owned this, I now own the Platinum edition.
I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a product to make Family Trees. I really enjoy making mine and I have found so many new family memebers by these products.
It is easy to transfer trees over and easy to get to grips with the upgrades. I will continue to follow the upgrades.
Go out and get them!!!

I've been using this for just over a week and have already filled several holes in my family research. USe the Ancestry subscription you can find loads of information searching through their databases, (I advise you to look at the tutorials first as these help you worlk out how to get the best from it). I found the software easy to use and have managed to print off some basic reports and charts - there are lots of featiures I haven't used yet but first impressions are pretty positive.
Definitely worth the money for the Ancestry subscription alone.

I've just started playing around with the product and really like it. I am new to family researh and find it easy to use. I like the timeline feature and that i can clip photos and info from other websites. Not sure how that compares to previous versions simce I am new to this

Just left some feedback for the Platinum edition of FTM and wanted to ensure that people realise that this Tree Making software is fantastic.
Easy to use, full of functionality and using this together with my current online family tree is a blessing.
