I'm sorry to say i wasn't overly impressed with this software,the AA should stick to breakdowns!
i wanted to see reallife pictures and all you get
is artist drawings which don't really look much like the real thing,buy a book and save your money!

This is a really nice program. It has many features - but most importantly for me is the Index of birds grouped by family that you can browse through with beutiful illustrations, video clips (only for 30% of the birds I'd say) and sound clips of the birds calls. I'm not an expert - I'm only interested in birds that I see around where I live - and these are all there with descriptions of species, habitiat distribution etc. I'd say for the expert this will still be a valuable CD. There are other features like a search program that bring you through several steps to try to identify a bird given coulor, size, location etc.
