5 out of 5 stars great monitor but maybe the BT 100 would do ?   November 24, 2008
I've been using this monitor for 4 months now and am very happy with it.

It's easy to setup and use. The sound quality is good and it's loud enough to hear baby rolling over even when you have the TV on in the evening. Battery life is fine for me as the parent monitor can be carried round for about 8 hrs without needing to be re-charged (I only use it from 7pm until I go to bed so thats fine for me).

I have used the torch but only to check what time it is in the middle of the night when the baby wakes up crying ! Otherwise I am not sure I will ever use the extra features that the BT150 has over the BT100 but overall I'm very happy with it and would recommend BT baby monitors.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic even in a flat   November 19, 2008
I had done a weeks worth of research before purchasing this baby monitor, and i have to say i am really impressed its a clear as a bell and really easy to set up we just plug in and go, the thermometer is slightly out but only by a degree, i have a grobag thermometer to compare this too. I can even hear my five month old sucking his fingers in the night which does amuse me and my partner. I havent needed to take the parent monitor off the base yet as we live in a flat so i am only using it at night time. We live in a flat and i was worried that this might pick up other monitors if they were in use, but they dont. This is well worth the money.

5 out of 5 stars Everything you need in a monitor, and no interference   November 19, 2008
The best part about this is that it uses DECT for interference free sound wherever you are, no matter how many other transmitters there are in the vicinity. That said there are a lot of good features here, including a torch (that automatically mutes the speaker) and audio/visual/vibrate alerts. Mains/battery/rechargeable (base unit doesn't recharge), talkback, and much more. Been using it 3 months and it's doing a great job. Some days it might take a couple of times before it connects, but apart from that it's impeccable.

3 out of 5 stars Might be better to go for BT 100??   October 27, 2008
After having looked at both the BT 100 and 150 we went for the 150 as it had the thermometer. The thermometer is inaccurate and poorly responsive - I've compared it against 2 other thermometers. You'd be better off buying a seperate room thermometer. As for all the extra functions, It's early days, but I can't see we're ever going to use them! Sound quality and adjustable sensitivity functions are great but I suspect the BT 100 would do the job of 'baby monitoring' just as well.

4 out of 5 stars very good, but not as good as its predecessor!   October 6, 2008
We have this monitor for our second baby, and its predecessor for our first (3 storey house, 2 monitors required!) The sound quality & sensitivity is as good, however the battery doesnt seem to last as long on the parent unit. Also, occasionally it has been tempermental connecting to the baby unit. Overall, very good, glad we stuck with the same manufacturer.BT Digital Baby Monitor
