Excellent buy! November 12, 2008 I was very pleased with this, it made sleeping much easier when I was pregnant and I used it a lot while breastfeeding. Not just a banana shaped pillow but specifically shaped for pregnancy. It was perfect with just one down side, which was the cover. It was made from very thin material and the seam split when I took it off for washing. This was a bit of a shame as otherwise it was an excellent product. Not sure where I would get another strange shaped pillow case like that one to replace it!
The best nights sleep I have had in months! October 30, 2008 This item arrived yesterday and so last night was my first night with it. I have to say that I slept like a log, I have been struggling to get comfortable in bed for a couple of months so to sleep so soundly was a very welcome change.
I am really pleased that I invested in this pillow, I was looking at the cheaper straight ones but in the end spent some birthday money on this. The back support and the curved leg support really do make a huge difference and my ever growing bump (I am having twins!) felt well supported. If you are struggling to get comfortable and do not naturally lie on your side, the recommended sleeping position whilst pregnant, this is the pillow for you.
Good idea, but could be better. September 23, 2008 I'm currently 7 months pregnant and after fighting with cushions, pillows, a V-pillow etc I eventually stuck this on my Wishlist and my husband bought me it for one of my birthday presents in the hope of us both getting a better night's sleep!
As with the 2 reviews above I've found that the bit to go between the legs isn't quite long enough (I'm 5'7" so not tiny, but not a giant either), it's also a bit skinny and not quite padded enough for my liking although I've found it to be more comfortable than any of the other options I'd tried. The advert says that you don't need to turn it around to sleep on the other side, but if I do lie on my right the bit for the legs only comes about as far as my knees so is pretty useless.
Apparently there is a bit to support the bump, but I don't find that it does really, it more squishes into it (unless that's what they mean by support, I'd rather something that went under it to take the weight off a bit). I thought maybe I was using it incorrectly but I'm in the same position as the photos on this page.
As with the review above I found that the bit that goes behind your back is very thinly padded and doesn't stop me rolling onto my back (if anything it seems to encourage it).
I've not tried it for feeding yet, but have used it several times as a back support (with the sausage bit around my lumber area) and found that extremely comfortable. I can't comment on its use for feeding, but looks like it will be better for that than for night use (although I'm still not sure that the bit the baby lies on - the bit that supports the back in bed - is padded enough).
Don't get me wrong, I do think it's a great idea, and I've generally found it more comfortable than anything else I've tried but it could be even better.

The pillow bit for between your legs/ knees isn't big enough in my opinion (I agree with the review above) and although it is more comfortable than without it, I have found a normal pillow does the job better for me.
The other big issue is that I woke up every time I wanted to turn over in bed because it is one-sided. But you're awake a lot anyway....
My opinion is that the money is better spent elsewhere and a couple of normal pillows for me are better.
Not for tall/large people? September 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After much debate during my second trimester on whether it would be worth the money for this pillow... another sleepless night early into my third trimester saw me online at 7am buying it! When I opened the package I was surprised to see so little pillow! I imagined it would be bigger. I am thinking this pillow was designed for a more petite person than myself (I am 5'10" and currently 88 kilos!) I roll easily over the back "support" and end up sleeping on my back again. The bit that goes between the legs is so meager and thin, I prefer to use a normal pillow. I give it 2 stars because the bit that tucks under the bump is fine! I am going to pass this on to my newly pregnant, petite 5'2" friend and see if it works for her... It was not worth the money for me :(
