Top gear top trumps December 5, 2007 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
I saw this item on Amazon and instantly jumped up with joy. I've just ordered them and I cannot wait till I get them. I'm a huge fan of top trumps games as they are enjoyable and can be played with the whole family. I especially love motor top trumps. This item would be a must have for all top gear fanatics like myself.
Un beatable combination November 30, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Not just Top Trumps but Top Gear as well - this is an ideal stocking filler or easy to carry amusement for a train / plane trip that will appeal instantly to fans of the TV show but is still fine for all to play
Fantastic Gift November 27, 2007 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
A must for Top Gear fans....the nutter who reviewed and gave 1 star is quite simply clueless and has no idea what top trumps are all about...
WAKE UP CATMANDOO!!!! November 26, 2007 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I read the review from Catmandoo and to say I was not happy was a under statement. I do not believe that anybody who is walking today has not played or heard of Top Trumps. This game has been around for donkeys years why write a review and slag the product off when you apparantly know nothing about it. If you haven't played or heard of Top Trumps just ask any kids that live down your street they will put you right.
Why write a review when you don't know what you're writing it for? November 21, 2007 34 out of 34 found this review helpful
I have to leap to the defence of Top Trumps after the reviewer who gave it 1 star has had their say. They have obviously got no idea what the game is all about and I consider it most unhelpful of them to then give the game a 1 star review. Top Trumps has largely been responsible for teaching my reluctant reader son how to read, and I'm sure there are many other children out there who are now engaging in reading thanks to these cards. The knowledge they impart about the topic they are covering is an added bonus too. My son (5) has enjoyed playing with his friends, dad (40) and grandpa (70), so I would also add that it's a game for all ages.
For those who aren't familiar with the game, split the pack between you and a friend(s), play the cards in order, choose your category and try and beat your oponents with your score. If you win take their card, if you lose you have to hand yours over until someone has won them all. Simple and fun.
