owners beware! July 26, 2003 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
A beautiful and entertaining programme.Whether a parrot owner or not this video is both educational and entertaining showing that there is real understanding behind all those pretty feathers.Parrots being completely silly both in their natural habitat and those who own humans as pets,a real look into their psycological, emotional and physical needs. It leaves us wondering whether they really should be kept as pets at all seeing as they can be more understanding an intelligent than perhaps some of the people that keep them!!
Parrotmania? 'Look who's Talking' sure is!! June 14, 2003 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Being a Parrot 'Nut' and owning several of my own, of course I rushed to get my copy of Look Who's Talking. This is a video I defy anyone not to enjoy, Parrot Lover or not! And yes, maybe I am a little biased, but it is pure entertainment as well as bringing home the message that Parrots really should be left in the wild where they belong. Each section is introduced by Jake an African Grey with amazing talking ability and a comical way of introduction. The Corella parrot with the amazing Australian accent and a gift for tormenting her owner is sheer joy. Watch the Parrot swinging around in circles on the washing line and riding a bike, people who have no interest in parrots have borrowed my video time and time again for themselves and to show to others. Parrots are supreme beings, please take time out to watch this video and enjoy the sheer vivacity of those creatures who help to make it the superb video it is and also to perhaps learn a little more about these amazing creatures and the disservice we, as mankind, do to them. It will be an hour well spent, and you will want to do it again, I promise you.
