I guess this is the US Blu Ray disc of the film, this is region locked to Region "A" so won't play on a UK PS3 or Blu Ray stand alone player.
If like me, you really want this film - order it from Australia.

One of the classic action thrillers of all time with excellent cast and good storyline. Definately worth the watch!

This is a great action film! Its great to watch and so worth the money! I love it!Critics will be silent for this film, maybe not as good as the other 2, but still briliant! Bruce Willis at his best. It has some of the best car scenes ive ever seen! The perfect action movie. Im just gona go and watch it again!
This is now the uncut UK theatrical release February 14, 2001 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
A quick response to the comment about the edited version of this DVD: that version was released some time ago in error, and was withdrawn. After contacting Amazon, they've updated the information here to show that is the 8th January 2001 release of Die Hard 3, and is identical to the UK theatrical release. While Die Hard 3 strays somewhat from the premises of the original movies (it was originally intended to be made as Lethal Weapon 4), and suffers a little for that, it is still a great action adventure, with plenty of comedy thanks to Samuel L. Jackson's Zeus. It may be Die Hard in name only, but it still stands on it's own.

Bought this DVD a while back, and was hugely disappointed with the DVD release. It seems that all the violence has been edited out of the film. Whilst not entirely vital to the plot and the storyline, the fact remains, the film is a full 10 minutes shorter on DVD. Don't buy it!
