Episode:
1. The Big Parade
The first episode on this video that shows Captain Mainwaring and his platoon taking part in a procession in which Mainwaring wants a mascot to lead them. Unfortunately he discovers that trusting Private Walker to supply one was a very bad mistake. An episode which of the three is my least favorite which doesn't necessarily mean that anyone else will find it so, so don't be put off by this.

2. Gorilla Warfare
A well produced episode and in my opinion, the funniest of the lot which during a training exercise, shows Mainwaring placing himself as a highly important secret agent which the regular army have to capture before he can complete his mission. But what's this, a Gorilla is on the loose. Walmington on seas home guard have certainly got their work cut out for them. An episode of pure light hearted humour and a chance to see Walmington on sea's home guard at their best.

3. The Godiva Affair
A splendid episode which sees Captain Mainwaring and his platoon acting out a Morris dance in aid to help raise money for a spitfire. But all does not go down well when Mainwaring finds out what Hodges has in store for his contribution, While corporal Jones is going through a crisis of his own for the attention of Mrs. fox. In my opinion this is a tape containing some of the most comical episodes of Dads Army which never cease to make me laugh. A must have for all Dad's Army fans to place beside their most treasured Dad's Army collections and even for those who aren't fans, it will most certainly warm your heart with it's light humour.
