Not particularly impressed with this book. It is very thick and the pages small (less than A5) and as such it is hard to handle. Also there are many species that I expected to be present but weren't and some groups of organisms were very under represented.
Do yourself a favour and buy the Collins Complete British WIldlife: Photographic. A great little general guide.
