The perfect natural alternative May 4, 1999 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book is one I refer back to time and again; you feel better just by reading it, and the wide range of natural remedies offered are well researched and useful. I have used this book and many of the therapies in successful drug-free treatment of clinical depression, as well as for less urgent treatment of stress, insomnia, feelings of low self esteem etc. and have always found it comforting and practical. I would recommend this book to everyone. I think we all could use it at one time or another!
This is an easy-to-use guide for emotional disorders. July 13, 1998 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book was easy to read and offered viable solutions to a variety of emotional states such as fear, anxiety, depression, stress, etc. A wide range of alternative choices were offered such as yoga, herbal remedies, meditation and others. The author encourages the reader to use the therapy that feels the most comfortable. This book is easy to read and every time I have read it, I have always felt more hopeful and reassured. I highly recommend it.
