| Customer Reviews:
Silly plot device, great writing June 20, 2008 Clint Westmoreland is none too happy to discover that the marriage he went went through while undercover in his former job as a Texas ranger, was never annulled, and he is still legally married to his former partner Alyssa. Their former director has ordered them to stay under the same roof for 30 days, rather than get a divorce immediately when they found out they were still married. Because their director is anti divorce, and thinks young people are too casual about marriage vows. So the plot is hackneyed and doesn't make a lot of sense. But despite this Brenda Jackson weaves another of her romances, with two people who didn't know each other particularly well five years ago when they got married as part of an undercover mission, but now find they strike sparks off each other whilst being forced to stay under the same roof.
Alyssa is happy to get away from her malicious cousin who is rubbing it in her face that she stole Alyssa's finance from her and spend time with Clint Westmoreland who she found very attractive when they were working together five years ago, and get to know him as he's no longer so aloof. And Clint finds that the woman he vaguely remembers because she was mousey and young, is now an attractive woman he is finding it hard to keep his eyes and hands off.
Neither one of them is interested in staying married, so do they have an affair and go about their separate ways? or stay married.
