Zoo and wild animal medicine: Current therapy is the most recent edition of the series and it continues where it's predecessors left off. This textbook has become the core text for veterinarians interested in zoo and wildlife medicine, and as usual this volume does not disappoint. Each chapter is written by an international expert in his or her field and the range of topics covered is wide.
The text is broken in to a series of sections starting with general topics, zoonoses, fish, reptiles, avian medicine, and mammals.
Each topic is then divided into separate articles regarding recent advances in the relevant fields.
I can't recommend this book highly enough and I would be surprised if people in this veterinary speciality did not already own a copy.
