Dinosaurs Before Dark is an excellent book. It is the first Magic Tree House book - and after reading it I have ordered 4 more ! The book has very nice pictures and has a very interesting story.

5 out of 5 stars My 5-year old daughter cannot get enought of this series!   April 4, 1999
This is truly a fun series to read to my five year old. Each has a "scary" element (that isn't so scary)and they really keep her interest. There is no surer way to get her to PROMPTLY change into pajamas and brush her teeth, than to tell her we won't be able to read the next two chapters of the Magic Tree House if she doesn't hurry!

4 out of 5 stars Jack and Annie travel to the past and experience dinasaurs.   February 26, 1999
This is a cool book! The author writes about awesome dinasaurs. If you like to learn about dinasaurs you should read this book. You will like it because it has action.

My favorite part is when Jack gets trapped by the dinasaur.

5 out of 5 stars A fun book.   January 3, 1999
My dad and I liked this book because it was exciting and made us feel like we were traveling through time. My friends in the first grade like the Magic Tree House series, and we highly recommend them.

5 out of 5 stars Mysterious, lots of facts about dinosaurs, scarry   August 3, 1998
Annie is very annoying because she is 7 years old. Jack likes to learn the facts before jumping into things. My favorite part of the book was when Jack found the medallion with the big M on it because that is where the mystery begins. I read the book without putting it down.
