5 out of 5 stars great photos, great value   June 26, 2005

As another reviwer mentioned, this is such an absorbing book. It's unashamedly good for the 'coffee table' and everyone will want to flick through it. It shows a great breadth of subject matter. Importantly, it's excellent value for such a large book of colour photos.

5 out of 5 stars huge, emotional   February 16, 2005

when i got this book i just couldn't believe how heavy and large it is, and each page carries with it pictures of people, or situations, or places etc which make you live the moment feel the emotions, smell whatever there is in the air, hear whatever therewas going on, it makes you part of the photos. Nearly all of these photos are fantastic, inspiring, some however probably don't belong to such a masterpiece but you can easily point them out. In short a book worth every penny and a must have if you have real taste for photographs.

I bought this for my Dad for Christmas. He is still looking at the pictures, as does everyone that goes to the house.
