Absolutely fascinating!! June 19, 2001 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I can't *really* see why people think this book is funny - OK yeah, some of the stories made me grin quite wildly. But that is by no means a criticism; It's absolutely fascinating and gives a bit of confidence to those people who worry about everything, even the most unlikely events.
Great read June 11, 2001 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I had allways wondered how to get out of at least 4 of the examples in this book. Of course we will probably never use the tips, but as a curiosity it is very interesting read
A Great Laugh May 30, 2001 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book had my wife and I in stitches at the bookstore where we first saw it - so good we noted down the ISBN and later purchased it online (how many people bother with that). A great gift for the big kid in the family who you don't know what to buy for and a superb book for the little boys room shelf.
Interesting and very funny to read. May 19, 2001 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
I had a very great time when I read this book, and I think it gives some very useful information too although it is probably unlikely that the average person comes across a situation like this.
Brilliant! May 3, 2001 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This book is really amusing as well as helpful! ..it's a good read and well put together. You're not likely to have to figure out what to do in the event of a shark attack... but wouldn't you like to know anyway?
