Excellent Book March 10, 2004 I saw this book when I was on holiday in the USA but didn't buy it because I had enough to carry home! Its a really good introduction to photographing the family and makes you think about what you're seeing, particularly about getting in close and not having acres of space around a subject. Layout is good too and the various projects though intended for a US audience work equally well here. Well worth the money.
Great book February 4, 2004 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book is an excellent introduction to family photography and has some useful camera tips thrown in too. The bulk of the book is about seeing what is in the viewfinder and how to achieve even better. It makes you think about your photographs, and helps you to turn 'snaps' into real photographs. The project layout is good since it covers most of the main sorts of occasions that family life takes in over time. Good value for money.
