This book is a bible to paddlers in the canadian style!It takes you from basics right through to reading and tackling white water.
This book has changed very little over the years except updates by his son as regards new materials i.e Carbon, Diolin etc.
The only Drawback are the photographs which are sometimes a little hard to see due to them being black and white and the contrast is iffy!! anyway its about going out and trying yourself and not looking at pictures
