Gentle Giant April 24, 2004
After visiting Jersey Zoo on many occasions & also having beingprivalliged to see Jambo and his family in the flesh I was devasted tohear that this gentle giant had passed away.
I bought this book fromJersey Zoo and the author autographed it for me.
Jambo was a legend that still lives on in the hearts and souls of everyonethat met him and this book is a credit to the great beasts life.
The bronze statue in the Zoo is a loving tribute to him and all who knewthis wonderful animal.
A truly wonderful read and stunning pictures.
Jambo my friend you aresorely missed.
