Attractive book, some inaccuracies November 20, 2006
An attractive and comprehensive book (as far as the selection of cities go) - especially as it includes some more unusual places (Tbilisi comes to mind). But when each city is illustrated by only one or two photos, I expect them to be accurate - one Oxford photo shows London; the only photo of Colombo is a well-known Mumbai scene (as any other travel guide will show). Most other photos and descriptions are good enough for this to make a nice gift though.
