I loved this film, it has got to be in my top twenty favourite films ever.

4 out of 5 stars The Funny Film called Kangaroo jack   September 30, 2007
This is a really funny film and I enjoyed watching it. I laughed at the bit where the two men are in the desert and start to dream about good looking woman. I rated this film a four star because it is my second favourite comedy film !

I felt I had to write in defence of this film as my two daughters (9 and 13) absolutely loved it. It is hard enough these days to find something that is entertaining without being crude, violent or spoilt by bad language. The kangaroo was a big hit and the DVD version contains lots of bonus items - animal audtions, dance sequences etc - that have been much played. OK, it is not very 'high-brow' but it is great family entertainment.

AWFUL! My nine year old daughter and I were looking forward to watching this having been told how funny it was. What a disapointment ! A weak plot and predictable lame humour. We were amazed at how awful it was!

5 out of 5 stars If you love comedies then get this!!!!!! A must!!!!!!   October 7, 2003

I saw this at the movies and I fell out of my chair laughing. The stepson of a New York mafia boss incurs his wrath when his best friend gets him involved in one of his no-brainer schemes. Friends through a quirk of fate when Lewis (Anthony Anderson ) saves Charlies (Jerry O'Connell) life. The funny stuff occurs when they are told to go to Australia to deliver an unknown package to a gentleman in the outback. On the way they open the package and one situation leads to another and lets say the money in Lewis’s jacket winds up on the infamous Jackie Legs ( “Kangaroo Jack”).
This has been slammed in the States but if you want a family comedy then this is it.

A must for anyone who likes zany situation comedies!!!
