Absolutely fantastic! August 14, 2008 As a HUGE fan of Border Collies this was a 'must have' for me. Seeing a large pack of these dogs in their natural surroundings going about their daily business was a joy, they're obviously well cared for and thoroughly enjoy their work. This film's also proof (if it were needed) that collies are totally mad! The expression "work hard, play hard" must have been made for them. The puppy shots are just wonderful but one of my favourites is the sequence with the water sprinkler, you'll laugh out loud! The music accompanying the film is an inspired choice, all in all I cannot recommend this DVD highly enough.
just a lovely film July 13, 2008 it,s lovely to see working dogs relaxing and not working all the while,it was different and funny.
Not just for Collie fans!! June 4, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you love the antics of dogs generally, you will love this production. Very professionally put together, with the emphasis on the life and welfare of the owner's pack of beautiful collies! The narrator (and film maker) of the DVD is first class with timely, intelligent and euphonius rhetoric which keeps the viewer quite captivated. With a very obvious love of their animals, the producers have that rare and enviable luxury of dovetailing their business with pleasure: this is prevalent throughout the whole of the DVD and it becomes apparent very quickly that this time the creation of a much sought after theme isn't just about making a quick buck. I did, however, smart a little at their website which suggested that if you were unfit or dare I say it, of portly proportions, they would have to think twice about selling you a puppy!! I am VERY portly, and own a labrador and a collie cross (which I rescued from the wonderful Arthurshiel rescue centre in the St. Boswalls area of the Scottish Borders), both of which I have trained to an excellent standard and both which would not look out of place on a DVD of my own, I hasten to add!! However, if they read this I will let them think about the moral fitness of such a decision and hope they would adopt a more discretionary attitude to the general public and perhaps change their views. It only remains to be said that I don't believe they were being too venomous in their ideals, rather I would suggest they do have the best interests of their animals at heart!! Would I buy a follow up to this DVD?? Absolutely without question! Yes Kings Green, even us fatties adore you: some reciprocity would not go amiss!!

Absolutely fabulous, the dogs, the music - my grandchildren love it, my border collies love it but I am the biggest fan. I see something new each time I watch it. Looking forward to the next one!
It's Collie time !! February 4, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
What a great DVD, my brother in law bought it for us for Christmas. Watching it made us laugh and cry there are not many feature films that can do that ! Seeing so many collies having so much fun together was excellent, so much so we have now have four !! A must for all dog lovers.
