5 out of 5 stars In response to Michael   September 24, 2006
I am sorry to say that Mr. Willard Price passed away in 1963, but I do agree with you that his books are fantastic. I read them when I was your age, and highly recommend tehm to any children, particularly boys who can identify with the young heroes in the book.

This book is awesome. William Golding understands children so well. This bok describes almost every nature of children. It is about SURVIVAL. It is about a bunch of children who are castaways on a desert islnd because there plane was shot down.

4 out of 5 stars I found this book extremely adventurous.   April 27, 2000

I thought the book was really adventurous. Hal & Roger had a hard task to do. I have now read all the Willard Price books except Whale Adventure. The thing I like most about the books is that I feel I am having the adventure with them. It is a way to escape & relax. I love Willard Price & will be sad when I finish Whale Adventure. Please write some more. Is there a Willard Price website?
