Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Fun for grown ups too!   April 26, 2008
As a teacher I have read this book to my class (of 9 year olds) and not only was I laughing throughout it but most importantly the children were too! The humour is for everyone and David Henry Wilson is obviously able to poke fun at himself (as I imagine he sees himself as the hapless father in the story - worple worple semantics!). Although it may be a little "1970s" in places the humour has stood the test of time. I can thoroughly recommend this book. Jeremy James and his antics could be guaranteed to make anyone smile! (Except for red faced men with bristly moustaches!)

I really enjoyed this book especially the story where Jeremy James had a visit from the doctor as he ate to many liquorice allsorts. timothy is like my friend who is really stroppy. I have also read never say moo to a bull which I recommend...

I FIRST READ THIS BOOK YEARS AGO AND I STILL CHUCKLE TO MYSELF AS I REMEMBER IT. I CANNOT RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH IF YOUR CHILD HAS A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOUR OR YOU NEED A GOOD LAUGH QWHILST DOING THE BEDTIME STORY. I REMEMBER HOW BATTERED MY COPY WAS SO I AM REORDERING AND SO MY CHILD (ALTHOUGH ONLY 9 MONTHS OLD AT THE MOMENT) CAN ENJOY THIS EXCELLENT BOOK IN YEAR S TO COME. DELIGHTED THAT IT IS STILL IN PRINT!
