This book changed my life, I know this is a strong statement but it's true. From start to finish John C. Morris keeps you interested on electronics. For college puroposes this is great and even for the budding technician its a solid foundation on which to grow. The diagrams are very clear and so are the explanations. John C Morris certainly knows his electronics.
An excellent book for study at HND levelApril 27, 2001 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
John Morris has a way of explaining electronics that is straightforward and yet at a sufficiently complex level. The practical experiments are especially useful for developing a hands-on, intuitive feel for the subject.
There is not too much mathematics and the book covers analogue devices from transistors and operational amplifiers to thyristors and triacs. There are also helpful chapters on the decibel, noise and feedback.
This book and it's twin "Digital Electronics" are an invaluable resource for the student of electronics.
