I am 14, and have been reading Dean R. Koontz for most of y2k, and I have read one that I didn't like much, but compared to that, all three of these are excellent. I read 2 of these 3 in a single book format, but I think that this format is a lot better, you'll like it if you like crime, horror or even want to expand your mind from romance, as Koontz's books usually include a little romance, or sex, so you people might like them. 'Cold Fire' was really intense, a bit x-filean in nature-which, incidently-was how I got into horror, through the equally brilliant X-files books. Hideaway is really scary, I couldn't sleep one night after I read it!! usually that kind of thing doesn't affect me, but Koontz's discriptions were so vivid in my mind that it scared me! Brilliant!! I've just been given 'Key to Midnight' to read, so I will be reading that and enjoying it, and who knows, if it's good I may even be tempted to write another review for amazon!! I know that who ever buys this (you KNOW you wanna!!) will enjoy it, and come back to amazon with the amazing prices, and buy more!!
