Sally of Prep 111T (Mrs Thayer's class in Letchworth) May 22, 2007 If you want excitement, drama, adventure then read 'Madagascar' by Billy Frolick. I coudn't stop reading it once I had started. It's very funny. The main characters are a lion used to being the centre of attention, a zebra who wants to live in the wild, a giraffe who's a hypochondriac and a hippo who's got attitude. The story takes place in New York city zoo and is about four animals that are taken from the comfort of their homes and loaded onto a boat heading for Africa. Destination: The WILD!!! However, instead they are marooned on the island of Madagascar... wait it get's better but I won't tell you about it or that would spoil it. I would give this book seven out of ten and recommend it to children age seven and over. Don't miss it!!!
